Job summary

SimVentions is seeking a skilled C++ Software Developer to support aircraft software maintenance. The role is on-site at NAVAIR-PAX River in St. Mary's County, MD, requiring 5 days/week on-site and an active Secret clearance.

Requirements include C++ coding and testing, Linux (RHEL), Oracle databases, and Visual Studio. BS in engineering or computer science is expected, with additional preferred skills in Jira/Confluence, Ada, DOORS/Cameo, M&S systems, and military avionics.

Qualifications

• Ability to write, review, and test C++ code.
• Experience with Linux operating systems including RHEL.
• Experience with Oracle databases.
• Experience with Visual Studio.

Responsibilities

• Provide software development expertise as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
• Review data, reports, studies, designs, design documentation, tests, or equipment to determine conformance with contract technical requirements.
