Job summary

SimVentions is seeking a skilled C++ Software Developer to support aircraft software maintenance efforts. This on-site role at NAVAIR-PAX River in St. Mary's County, MD requires an active SECRET clearance and US citizenship.

Candidates should have BS in engineering or computer science and experience with C++, Linux (RHEL), Oracle, and Visual Studio. Familiarity with Jira/Confluence, Ada, DOORS, Cameo, modeling/simulation, and HW/SW interfaces is a plus.

Qualifications

• Ability to write, review, and test C++ code.
• Experience with Linux (RHEL).
• Experience with Oracle databases.
• Experience with Visual Studio.
• Ability to obtain/maintain an active Secret clearance; US citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Provide software development expertise as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Review data, reports, studies, designs, tests, or equipment to ensure contract compliance.
