Job summary

SimVentions is seeking a skilled C++ Software Developer to support aircraft software maintenance efforts at NAVAIR-PAX River, St. Mary’s County, MD. This on-site role requires a Secret clearance and U.S. citizenship.

You will work as part of a multidisciplinary team, writing, reviewing, and testing C++ code on Linux (RHEL) environments and interfacing with Oracle databases. Proficiency with Visual Studio is desired; familiarity with Jira/Confluence, Ada, DOORS, and Cameo is a plus.

Qualifications

• BS in engineering or computer science.
• Experience with C++ writing, reviewing, and testing.
• Experience with Linux (RHEL).
• Experience with Oracle databases.
• Experience with Visual Studio.

Responsibilities

• Provide software development expertise as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
• Review data, reports, studies, designs, design documentation, tests, or equipment to determine conformance with contract technical requirements.
