Qualifications

Graduate of a professional nursing program accredited by the U.S. Department of Education.
Active, valid, and unrestricted Physician Assistant license in the U.S.
Minimum of one year of experience working as a Physician Assistant.
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Strong documentation, communication, and time management skills.

Responsibilities

Conduct C&P disability examinations for Veterans in accordance with VA program requirements.
Review medical records, diagnostic testing, and supporting documentation before and during examinations.
Perform focused physical assessments related to claimed conditions.
Prepare objective, evidence-based medical opinions and complete required documentation accurately.
Use proprietary examination and case management systems to organize workload and submit findings.
Work with the Quality Assurance team to ensure reports are complete, accurate, and submitted within required timelines.
Maintain compliance with VA training requirements, HIPAA, privacy standards, and Loyal Source policies.
Support other Loyal Source clinics as needed, with approximately 10% travel.
