Job summary

Loyal Source is seeking an Examiner Physician Assistant to perform Compensation & Pension (C&P) disability examinations for Veterans applying for VA benefits. You will review records, conduct focused assessments, and provide objective medical opinions in a non-treatment role.

Location is Cleveland, OH with about 10% travel to support other Loyal Source clinics. The role offers a steady Monday–Friday schedule and a competitive annual pay rate.

Qualifications

• Strong documentation, communication, and time management skills.
• Graduate of a professional nursing program recognized by the U.S. Department of Education.
• Active, valid, and unrestricted Physician Assistant license.
• Minimum of one year of experience as a Physician Assistant.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Authorized to work in the United States and able to meet federal contractor requirements.

Responsibilities

• Conduct C&P disability examinations for Veterans in accordance with VA requirements.
• Review medical records, diagnostic testing, and supporting documentation before and during examinations.
• Perform focused physical assessments related to claimed conditions.
• Prepare objective, evidence-based medical opinions and complete documentation accurately.
• Use examination and case management systems to organize workload and submit findings.
• Maintain compliance with VA training requirements, HIPAA, and Loyal Source policies.
