Job summary

Pro Med HealthCare Services seeks licensed psychologists and board-certified psychiatrists to perform non-treatment Compensation & Pension (C&P) disability evaluations for U.S. Veterans. Evaluations are in-person with potential telehealth options, reviewing medical histories and completing electronic DBQs.

Examiners may conduct in-person assessments in multiple locations with flexible scheduling. The role emphasizes objective evaluations, with no ongoing treatment or prescribing involved.

Qualifications

• Ph.D./Psy.D. from APA-accredited program with a focus on adult populations.
• MD/DO with Board Certification or completion of a 2-year specialty residency.
• Active, unrestricted U.S. state professional license.
• Strong computer proficiency and comfort with Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems.
• Excellent time management, critical thinking, and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Review Veteran medical records, service history, and prior exam documentation.
• Conduct non-treatment behavioral health evaluations and complete DBQs/Medical Opinions using an electronic portal.
• Explain the evaluation process to Veterans and accurately capture exam findings.
• Submit completed exam charts within 24–48 hours post-assessment.
• Administer and interpret psychological testing as required.
