Job summary

MSS is seeking to contract a Psychologist, PsyD or Psychiatrist to perform Compensation & Pension Exams (C&P) for our military Veterans at various sites through the USA. The position is full time for 6–12 months with an ASAP start in Tampa, FL.

Exams include PTSD, depression, anxiety, and eating disorders; documentation must be submitted promptly within 48 hours. Behavioral health exams are scheduled for 90+ minutes and all data is captured electronically.

Qualifications

• PhD or PsyD in psychology from an APA-accredited program or BC/BE MD.
• Active license to practice independently.
• Ability to work well within a team and adapt to changing situations.

Responsibilities

• Perform compensation and pension exams (C&P) for Veterans.
• Review a Veteran’s medical/mental health history before exams.
• Complete Disability Benefits Questionnaire (DBQ) documentation promptly (within 48 hours).
• Enter data via a web-based exam form in Provider Portal during the interview.
• Submit completed exams to the VA for disability determinations.
