Qualifications

• Must be a psychologist or psychiatrist licensed in at least one US state.
• Board certification or 2-year residency in psychiatry or psychology.
• PhD or PsyD with specialization in adult psychology; APA-accredited program preferred.
• Proficiency with EMR and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Demonstrates compassion, professionalism, and commitment to veterans' care.
• Strong time management and ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Read orders and review medical history, including service records and prior exams.
• Complete appropriate Disability Benefits Questionnaires and Medical Opinions in EMR.
• Explain exam process to veteran and confirm claimed conditions.
• Complete charting and submit exam within 24–48 hours after exam.
• Offer in-person exams with telehealth as needed.
• Administer and interpret psychological testing as needed.
• Follow protocol for behavioral health or medical emergencies.
