Job summary

Universal Health Services (UHS) is seeking a dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant for a full-time night shift at Northern Nevada Medical Center in Sparks, NV. The CNA will provide safe, competent bedside care, support the health care team, and uphold Patient Centered Care standards within a 124-bed acute care setting.

Requirements include Nevada CNA license and BLS, with a preference for graduates of accredited CNA programs and prior acute care experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited C.N.A program preferred.
• Current Nevada C.N.A. license required.
• Current BLS certificate required.
• Prefer one year full time or three years part time experience in acute care setting.

Responsibilities

• Completes Bedside shift report in the room at the beginning and end of each shift; provides care team contact details for the patient.
• Meets with Supervising RN at the beginning of each shift to receive task delegation.
• Involves the patient and family psychosocial, spiritual, emotional, and diversity needs in care.
