Job summary

Northern Nevada Medical Center, a UHS facility in Sparks, NV, is seeking a dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant for the Medical/Surg 6 Unit. This full-time nursing role provides safe, patient-centered care and supports the healthcare team in delivering excellent service.

This C.N.A. opportunity is a full-time position on our Medical/Surg 6 Unit and offers full time benefits and a convenient dats shift schedule. We are looking for a dynamic C.N.A. to provide safe, competent nursing assistant care for our patients. You will also provide professional support to the healthcare team. The concepts of Patient Centered Care will provide the foundation for all nursing care. Demonstrates Service Excellence standards at all times.

Job Duties/Responsibilities

Completes Bedside shift report in the room at the beginning and end of each shift. Ensures patient is provided with the names and contact numbers for members of the care team on the communication board every shift.
Meets with Supervising RN at the beginning of each shift to receive delegation of tasks.
Involves the patient and family psychosocial, spiritual, emotional, population specific, and diversity needs in care.
