Job summary

Northern Nevada Medical Center in Sparks, NV is seeking a dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (C.N.A.) for a full-time position on the Medical/Surg III Unit. The role supports the healthcare team by delivering safe, patient-centered care and helping patients and families with Basic needs under supervision.

The ideal candidate will have a Nevada CNA license, current BLS certification, and prior acute care experience.

Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited C.N.A program preferred.
Current Nevada C.N.A. license required.
Current BLS certificate required.
Prefer one year full time or three years part time experience in acute care setting.

Responsibilities

Completes bedside shift report in room at the beginning and end of each shift.
Meets with Supervising RN at the beginning of each shift to receive task delegation.
Involves patient and family in psychosocial, spiritual, emotional and diversity needs in care.

This C.N.A. opportunity is a full-time position on our Medical/Surg III Unit and offers full time benefits and a convenient day shift schedule. We are looking for a dynamic C.N.A. to provide safe, competent nursing assistant care for our patients. You will also provide professional support to the healthcare team. The concepts of Patient Centered Care will provide the foundation for all nursing care. Demonstrates Service Excellence standards at all times.

Job Duties/Responsibilities

Completes Bedside shift report in the room at the beginning and end of each shift. Ensures patient is provided with the names and contact numbers for members of the care team on the communication board every shift.
Meets with Supervising RN at the beginning of each shift to receive delegation of tasks.
Involves the patient and family psychosocial, spiritual, emotional, population specific, and diversity needs in care.
