Job summary

Johnson Controls seeks a high-level sales professional to drive the sale of large, complex bundled offerings with guaranteed savings to C-level executives. You will build and manage long-term partnerships, qualify opportunities, and close strategic deals while expanding offerings within key accounts.

The role requires strong business acumen, the ability to communicate at the executive level, and travel up to 50%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or related discipline required. MBA preferred.
• Five to seven years of progressive field sales experience at the C-level.
• Excellent initiative and interpersonal communications skills.

Responsibilities

• Sell the JCI offerings persuasively to building owners and owner representatives at the C-level.
• Build long term customer relationships and manage the sales process to close new sales and guaranteed savings opportunities.
• Plan and document progress using sales tools (Salesforce, Account Management, Account Plan and TAS).
• Lead the sales team and coordinate with internal resources to maximize value for the customer.
