FlightSafety International seeks an experienced C-17 Pilot SME to deliver and supervise advanced training for pilots and maintenance staff. You will conduct rigorous instruction for drop and refueling procedures, maintain currency, and support program development across centers in the US and abroad.

Qualified candidates hold a Bachelor's degree, eight years of flying, and a SECRET clearance, with simulator and IT familiarity.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Eight years flying experience with five years as a C-17 pilot preferred.
• Two years or 200 hours of flight instructor experience in air drop and tactics.
• Active SECRET security clearance required.
• Experience with simulator and training management systems is a plus.

Aufgaben

• Conduct training using WST, C-17 aircraft, CBTs, and related ground training.
• Maintain high level of subject knowledge and instructional capability.
• Lead briefings, debriefings, and coaching for pilots and maintainer staff.
• Perform admin duties: record keeping, progress monitoring, and training program maintenance.
• Provide inputs for courseware updates and policy revisions.
