Job summary

Yulista is seeking an experienced Aviation Machinist specializing in the C-130 platform. The role focuses on fabrication, modification, and repair of aircraft parts using manual and CNC equipment, from blueprints to finished components.

Applicants should have extensive experience with C-130 details, read engineering drawings, and work safely under FAA/TO standards. The team supports readiness for the AFSOC fleet and related maintenance programs.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 10 years of aviation/aerospace machining experience.
• Proficiency in operating manual and CNC machining equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret complex engineering drawings and technical manuals.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate conventional and CNC machine tools to fabricate/repair aircraft parts.
• Manufacture replacement parts, bushings, sleeves, and tooling for the C-130 platform.
• Read blueprints, SRMs, and CAD files to guide fabrication and repair work.
• Select aviation-grade materials and ensure proper heat treatment and stress relief processes.
• Perform heat treatment of fabricated parts and conduct Rockwell hardness testing per standards.
• Use precision measuring instruments to verify tolerances and specifications.
• Collaborate with aircraft mechanics and technicians during maintenance checks.
• Ensure machining work complies with FAA regulations and TOs; maintain a safe shop environment.
