Job summary

V2X, Inc. is seeking an Aircraft Mechanic with C-130 experience to work under a CBA, performing complex troubleshooting and repair tasks.

The role includes preflight and post-flight inspections, component modernization, and supervision of jacking and towing operations in support of safe aircraft operations. The ideal candidate will hold a high school diploma, specialized repair courses, and 4+ years of relevant experience, with the ability to obtain a DoD Secret clearance and a valid US driver's

Qualifications

• High School degree or equivalent required.
• Completion of specialized courses in aircraft structural repair.
• Four years of recent experience in repair, modification, maintenance and overhaul of the C-130 aircraft.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair aircraft components including flight controls, engines, hydraulics, pneumatics, fuel systems, and mechanical systems.
• Replace or repair worn components and inspect for wear, cracks, defects; assist in engine removal and reinstallation.
• Perform preflight, thru-flight, and post-flight inspections and routine servicing.
• Supervise jacking and towing of aircraft and verify work completed to standard.
• Maintain logs and records as required.
