Job summary

V2X Inc. is seeking a skilled Aircraft Mechanic/Avionics Technician in Maryland to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain complex avionics systems on C-130 aircraft.

The role requires experience with radar, navigation, and missile control systems, along with the ability to read engineering drawings and perform calibration using precision test equipment. The position involves working in an aircraft maintenance environment, potentially leading teams on complex tasks, and requires the ability to obtain

Qualifications

• High School degree or equivalent.
• Completion of specialized courses in aircraft structural repair is required.
• Minimum of 2–4 years recent experience in repairing avionics, com/nav, or instrument systems on C-130 aircraft (4 years preferred).

Responsibilities

• Performs operational checks and troubleshoots complex aircraft avionics equipment.
• Uses advanced test equipment to perform checks and diagnostics.
• Repairs or replaces components based on test results and engineering docs.
• Calibrates and maintains system components per schematics and manuals.
• Maintains safe work practices and documents maintenance actions.
