Amentum is seeking a skilled The C-12/King Air Army Transport Aircraft Mechanic (FAA A&P) to service, repair and overhaul assigned aircraft and subsystems to ensure airworthiness. Responsibilities include operational checks, structural repairs, engine inspections, and performing engine runs.

The role requires a valid FAA A&P certificate and recent hands-on maintenance on C-12/King Air turboprops, with deployment eligibility for Kuwait as needed.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Valid FAA A&P certificate is required.
• Seven years' experience as an A&P mechanic with C-12/King Air maintenance experience.
• Recent full-time aviation maintenance experience on the C-12/King Air in the last 12 months.
• Must pass CENTCOM deployment and Army MOD17 Medical requirements.
• US passport required for Kuwait deployment and travel.

Responsabilidades

• Operationally checks repaired or modified systems for proper operation.
• Repair and replace aircraft structures and components using tools and equipment.
• Read and interpret manuals and service bulletins to determine repair methods.
• Inspect engines for leaks and diagnose malfunctions; perform engine runs.
• Test engine operation and diagnose sources of malfunction.
• Disassemble, inspect, repair, and reassemble engine parts.
• Service engines and airframe components to keep aircraft in safe condition.
• May travel for deployment to Kuwait and other remote locations.
• Maintain awareness of sub-systems, maintenance parameters, and technical orders.
