Job summary

KYOCERA SENCO is seeking a Buyer/Purchasing Agent in Cincinnati, OH to manage procurement of materials and goods. The role involves negotiating with suppliers, coordinating deliveries, and aligning with the supply chain team to ensure on-time availability.

The position requires strong communication, organizational skills, and experience with MRP systems; a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent purchasing experience is preferred. The role is full-time, on-site with standard daytime hours.

Qualifications

• Maintain regular communication with suppliers for delivery dates and forecast-driven changes.

Basic Function:

Top Duties and Qualifications A Buyer, or Purchasing Agent, is responsible for purchasing materials, supplies or equipment for a business. Their duties include negotiating deals with suppliers, researching possible item selections and taking inventory of current products.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Responsible for planning and purchasing finished goods from external suppliers, both international and domestic, as assigned.
• Buy inventory from suppliers and negotiate, together with supply chain team and leadership, on price, lead times, packaging, and terms.
• Coordinate the deliveries of containers between shipping company and receiving team.
• Regular communication with suppliers to confirm delivery dates or changes based on adjustments in forecast made by sales.

Qualifications:

• Undergraduate degree or previous experience in purchasing, material management, or related field .
• Strong experience with JD Edwards or similar MRP system.

Requirements:

• Must posses a high degree of communication skills, both written and verbal
• Proficiency with Excel and Microsoft Office suite.
• Excellent organizational, prioritization and analytical skills.
• Capable of identifying issues and communicating to all necessary stakeholders in a timely manner
