Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Commit to a delivery date on each customer order received and processed.
• Interface with customer service daily to ensure orders meet delivery expectations.
• Quote lead-times on all products to the Customer Service team.
• Procure supplies, materials, and equipment necessary for operations.
• Check requisitions, contact vendors, and examine bids and contracts.
• Develop project and production schedules from engineering plans and specifications.
• Coordinate with Production, Engineering, Shipping, and Accounting to resolve supply, quality, or logistic issues.
• Resolve supplier issues related to over shipments, shortages, obsolete materials, invoice problems, etc.
• Review open purchase orders and follow up with suppliers as needed.
• Prepare RFQs and obtain competitive bids to ensure cost efficiency.
• Expedite items/supplies to meet company demands.
• Monitor delivery and inventory performance to meet/exceed objectives.
• Achieve targets for cost-saving initiatives.
• Communicate with the Production department to execute revenue plans.
• Ensure ISO 9001 compliance within the functional area.

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain, business management, engineering, or related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in supply chain, production planning, or procurement.
• Experience with high-mix/low-volume manufacturing and overseas supplier management preferred.
• APICS CPIM or CSCP certification is a plus.
• Strong analytical, organizational, negotiation, communication, and problem-solving skills.
