You will work with Sales, Accounting and production teams to plan distributed products, manage ERP data, maintain inventory levels and meet customer delivery goals. Strong cross-functional teamwork and accountability are essential.

• Plan and schedule distributed products using ERP software to support production and delivery requirements.
• Review daily sales activity, distribution needs, and demand changes to maintain accurate planning priorities.
• Enter, update, and maintain ERP planning data, including inventory and production-related information.
• Manage inventory levels for key production components to help prevent shortages and excess stock.
• Create and release work orders in alignment with production schedules and customer delivery expectations.
• Partner with Sales and Accounting to resolve delivery, inventory, and cost-related issues.

Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented Buyer/Planner for a temp-to-hire opportunity in Ventura, CA. This role is ideal for a purchasing and production planning professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and wants to support inventory flow, production readiness, and on-time delivery.

The Buyer/Planner will work closely with Sales, Accounting, and production-related teams to plan distributed products, manage ERP data, maintain appropriate inventory levels, and help ensure customer delivery goals are met. This is a strong opportunity to join a collaborative operations team where communication, accountability, and cross-functional teamwork are key to success.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and schedule distributed products using ERP software to support production and delivery requirements.
• Review daily sales activity, distribution needs, and demand changes to maintain accurate planning priorities.
• Enter, update, and maintain ERP planning data, including inventory and production-related information.
• Manage inventory levels for key production components to help prevent shortages and excess stock.
• Create and release work orders in alignment with production schedules and customer delivery expectations.
• Partner with Sales and Accounting to resolve delivery, inventory, and cost-related issues.

Compensation and Benefits

• Pay: $28 to $33 per hour, depending on experience.
• Job type: Temp-to-hire.
• Location: Ventura, CA 93003.
