Job summary

Sika is seeking an experienced Buyer/Planner for our Riverside, CA site. You will prioritize and plan production, create and maintain schedules, and coordinate across manufacturing, procurement, and logistics to ensure on-time material flow and inventory availability.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in manufacturing planning, strong SAP/ERP and advanced Excel skills, and a proven ability to analyze complex data and solve problems in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in production or construction planning, scheduling, or related role in manufacturing or construction.
• Proficient in ERP systems (SAP preferred), advanced Excel, and scheduling software (MRP).
• Strong problem-solving skills with ability to analyze complex data and make informed decisions.
• Excellent verbal and written communication, with ability to collaborate across departments.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Prioritize and plan production to ensure uninterrupted manufacturing and meet objectives.
• Create, update, and maintain production schedules based on demand and lead times.
• Establish stocking plans and appropriate levels for materials at designated locations.
• Coordinate with manufacturing, quality control, purchasing and logistics to resolve discrepancies.
• Work with procurement, production, warehouse and logistics to secure inventory availability and on-time orders.
• Maintain master data to drive efficient purchasing and inventory management.
• Coordinate material transfers and respond to material shortages to ensure timely delivery.

## About the RoleSika Corporation is looking for an experienced Buyer/Planner to join its growing team in the Riverside, CA location. The Buyer/Planner is responsible for prioritizing and planning the production process to ensure uninterrupted manufacturing and achieve OLA and DIOH objectives.
