Job Description

This position involves purchasing components/raw materials, ensuring inventory security and accountability through documentation, process verification, and system review. Responsibilities include conducting physical inventories, leading cycle counts, analyzing and correcting discrepancies, auditing shipments, and documenting transactions. The role reports to the Production Planning Team Lead and is based onsite in Mequon, WI.

Your Responsibilities:
  • Understand customer or business partner needs to bring strategic value, prioritizing customer needs to drive business goals.
  • Unify internal teams around common goals and collaborate for better outcomes, requiring attention to detail and managing multiple priorities with minimal guidance.
  • Support product supply and inventory plans aligned with business objectives.
  • Create production plans considering customer orders, forecasts, material availability, equipment issues, and other factors to meet delivery and financial goals.
  • Assist in resolving delivery issues and managing inventory levels, including identifying causes and developing solutions.
  • Maintain accurate Bills of Materials and support updates from Engineering Change Notices.
  • Learn Material Requirements Planning to assist in product phase-in/out and inventory management, minimizing excess and obsolete inventory.
  • Understand product life cycle planning, including master scheduling and new product introduction, providing backup support as needed.
  • Identify core value-adding processes, maximize their performance, and streamline supply chain processes for efficiency.
The Essentials - You Will Have:
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S. (no visa sponsorship)
The Preferred - You Might Also Have:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain
  • APICS Certification
  • 2+ years of production control/material planning experience
  • Knowledge of manufacturing systems, especially Focus and PC applications
  • Procurement experience
