We are seeking a Buyer/Planner with 3–5 years of experience in a manufacturing and light assembly environment. This critical new role is responsible for inventory planning, procurement, supplier management, and production scheduling—ensuring efficient material flow and optimal inventory levels to support our growing product lines.

You’ll work closely with our production team, vendors, and internal stakeholders to drive cost-effective purchasing decisions while maintaining our high-quality standards and on-time delivery expectations.

Key Responsibilities and outcomes

Plan, forecast, and maintain optimal inventory levels based on production demand and sales trends to minimize stockouts
Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to ensure quality, cost, and delivery performance to meet customer demands
Collaborate with production to schedule work orders and manage material availability to maximize labor and equipment
Implement and maintain accurate records in our CIN7 Core Inventory Planning system for accurate purchasing decisions
Qualifications

3–5 years of experience in a Buyer/Planner role within a manufacturing and/or light assembly environment
Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
Experience implementing and working with ERP/MRP systems (knowledge of CIN7 Core and QuickBooks Online, a plus)
Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
Understanding of supply chain best practices and lean manufacturing principles
Self-starter with a proactive, team-oriented mindset
