Williams Plumbing in Belgrade, Montana, is seeking a detail-oriented Buyer to manage purchasing and material coordination across operations. You will work with vendors, warehouse and field teams to ensure timely delivery of materials at cost-effective prices.

Responsibilities include PO creation and management, price and schedule negotiation, delivery coordination, and cost tracking. The role emphasizes strong vendor relationships and process improvements in a dynamic construction environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in business, supply chain, engineering, or related field.
• Experience in purchasing or procurement in construction/mechanical contracting is preferred.
• Knowledge of trade materials and supply chain processes.
• Experience handling high volumes of POs and meeting deadlines.
• Understanding of shipping, logistics, invoicing, and job costing.
• Proficiency with procurement software and Microsoft Office.
• Strong organization, communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.

Are you an organized, proactive purchasing professional who knows how to keep materials moving, build strong vendor relationships, and keep projects on track? Williams Plumbing is looking for a Buyer to manage purchasing and material coordination across our operations.

You’ll work closely with vendors, warehouse and field teams, and management to negotiate pricing, manage purchase orders and deliveries, and ensure our teams have the right materials at the right time and cost.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

WHAT YOU BRING:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience in purchasing or procurement, preferably within the mechanical contracting, construction, HVAC, and/or plumbing industry.
• Knowledge of construction/trade materials and supply chain processes.
• Experience managing a high volume of purchase orders and competing deadlines.
• Understanding of shipping, freight, logistics, lead times, invoicing, and job costing.
• Proficiency with procurement software and Microsoft Office.
• Strong organization, communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
