Williams is seeking a Field Operations Manager in Belgrade, Montana to lead and grow our commercial plumbing operations on-site. You will supervise field teams, drive safety, schedule execution, and coordinate with project management across multiple commercial projects.

Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Journeyman Plumber license is a plus.
- Extensive commercial plumbing field experience with multiple projects leading teams.
- Strong understanding of field operations, labor productivity, scheduling and construction practices.
- Demonstrated leadership, accountability and personnel development.
- Excellent communication and conflict-resolution skills.
- Analytical, decisive problem-solving abilities under pressure.
- Ability to coordinate across departments and align field with office.
- Solid knowledge of plumbing codes and safety standards.
- Proficiency with Procore and scheduling tools; Excel and reporting systems.
- Familiarity with Teams/SharePoint for collaboration.
Responsibilities

- Leads and develops superintendents, foremen, and field teams; conducts performance reviews.
- Forecasts labor needs and coordinates manpower across projects; implements recovery plans.
- Reviews construction schedules; aligns field execution with milestones and planning.
- Reinforces safety culture and ensures OSHA compliance; participates in investigations.
- Coordinates labor, procurement, fabrication, and material delivery with Project Management.
- Ensures installations meet drawings and code; reduces rework through planning.
- Tracks labor productivity and supports forecasting and cost control.
- Maintains relationships with general contractors, owners, and stakeholders.
- Ensures accurate field reporting and KPI tracking for continuous improvement.

- Field Operations Leadership: Oversees field operations across all commercial projects; drives consistency in execution, monitors productivity, and removes obstacles impacting performance.
- Leadership & Accountability: Leads and develops superintendents, foremen, and field teams; conducts regular performance reviews focused on safety, quality, schedule, and production.
- Manpower & Workforce Planning: Forecasts labor needs, coordinates manpower across projects, and ensures efficient workforce utilization; implements recovery plans for underperforming projects.
- Scheduling & Production: Reviews construction schedules, aligns field execution with milestones, and supports look-ahead planning and productivity tracking.
- Safety & Compliance: Reinforces safety culture, ensures OSHA compliance, performs jobsite audits, and participates in incident investigations and corrective actions.
- Project Coordination: Partners with Project Management and General Superintendents to coordinate labor, procurement, fabrication, and material delivery; aligns field execution with office priorities and resolves conflicts.
- Quality Assurance: Ensures installations meet drawings, specifications, and code requirements; conducts inspections and reduces rework through standardization and planning.
- Financial & Operational Performance: Tracks labor productivity, improves efficiency, reduces waste, and supports accurate forecasting and cost control.
- Client & Communication: Maintains professional relationships with general contractors, owners, and stakeholders; represents the company in meetings and field coordination.
- Reporting & Continuous Improvement: Ensures accurate field reporting, supports KPI tracking, and drives operational improvement across projects.
- Education & Licensing: High school diploma or GED required; a valid Journeyman Plumber License is a plus.
- Experience & Longevity: Extensive commercial plumbing field experience with proven success leading multiple projects and teams.
- Operational Knowledge: Strong understanding of field operations, labor productivity, scheduling, and construction practices.
- Leadership and Accountability: Demonstrated ability to lead teams, develop personnel, and drive performance.
- Communication Skills: Strong verbal, written, listening, and presentation abilities; effective in negotiations and conflict resolution.
- Decision Making & Problem Solving: Demonstrates strong analytical, decision‑making, and problem‑solving skills under pressure.
- Teamwork & Leadership: Ability to coordinate across departments and build alignment between field and office.
- Knowledge of Codes & Safety Standards: Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, codes, and safety standards.
- Time & Stress Management: Excellent time management and stress handling skills in fast‑paced construction environments.
- Computer & Software Proficiency:
- Proficiency in construction management software (Procore or equivalent)
- Working knowledge of scheduling tools (MS Project or similar)
- Ability to use digital plans and field reporting tools
- Experience with Excel and production tracking/reporting systems
- Familiarity with collaboration platforms (Teams, SharePoint, or similar)
