Job summary

Konnect Resources, LLC is seeking an experienced Buyer to support the Purchasing Manager in maintaining inventory levels to meet production deadlines and customer requirements. The role covers routine purchasing, vendor management, pricing, and sourcing, with cross-training to serve as backup to the Purchasing Manager.

The position requires strong English communication and the ability to report to various company facilities as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Junior Buyer or Buyer.
• Good written and verbal English communication skills.
• Ability to report to any company facility based on business needs, sometimes with same-day notice.

Responsibilities

• Print and review reorder listings and evaluate inventory requirements and order quantities based on minimum/maximum levels.
• Place orders with approved vendors through Purchase Requisitions.
• Meet with vendors as needed.
• Maintain vendor files and ensure at least two alternate sources when possible.
• Research pricing and verify competitive pricing.
• Update pricing and shipping information.
• Communicate purchasing information promptly to appropriate departments.
• Verify purchase orders have proper authorization, pricing, and quantities.
• Maintain regular and punctual attendance.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Buyer to support the Purchasing Manager in maintaining sufficient inventory levels to meet production deadlines and customer requirements.

This position is responsible for routine purchasing activities involving materials used in the manufacturing process, including inventory review, purchase orders, vendor management, pricing, and sourcing. The Buyer will also be cross-trained on Procurement responsibilities and serve as backup to the Purchasing Manager when needed.

Key Responsibilities

• Print and review reorder listings and evaluate inventory requirements and order quantities based on established minimum and maximum inventory levels.
• Place orders with approved vendors through Purchase Requisitions.
• Meet with vendors as needed.
• Maintain vendor files for purchased products and maintain a minimum of two alternative sources when possible.
• Research available pricing and verify that competitive pricing is being obtained.
• Update pricing and shipping information.
• Communicate purchasing information promptly to appropriate departments.
• Verify that purchase orders have proper authorization and accurate pricing and quantities.
• Maintain regular and punctual attendance.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
