Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

1. Creates and manages purchase orders for the materials required by the company.
2. Follow up daily on pending orders using various computer tracking systems.
3. Follow up with vendors to ensure delivery deadlines are met.
4. Evaluate and monitor contracts, delivery, and invoices to ensure compliance with purchase order terms and conditions.
5. Perform cost analysis and negotiations, analyzing costs and pricing structures, collaborating with the Purchasing team to optimize costs without compromising quality.
6. Expedite deliveries as necessary to maximize customer satisfaction and on-time delivery.
7. Forecast purchasing needs.
8. Lead bidding processes to review market prices and ensure the company secures the best negotiated prices.
9. Establish and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential suppliers.
10. Collaborate closely with the logistics and operations teams to optimize supply chain processes.
11. Perform other duties as assigned by the immediate supervisor.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in administration.
• 3-5 years of purchasing experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Strong planning, organizational, and follow-up skills.
• Working knowledge of ERP systems.
• Effective verbal, written, decision-making, and interpersonal skills.
• Proactive attitude to identify and address issues promptly.
