Qualifications

Job description

We are seeking a Buyer to support purchasing activities within a manufacturing environment. This role will be responsible for sourcing and purchasing materials, components, supplies, and services needed to support day-to-day production and operations.

The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing setting while collaborating with vendors and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage purchasing activities for raw materials, components, MRO supplies, packaging, equipment, and other operational needs.
• Create and manage purchase orders from requisition through delivery.
• Monitor supplier performance, lead times, and deliveries to help ensure materials are available when needed.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
• Maintain accurate purchasing and vendor information within the ERP system.
• Assist with vendor setup and supplier evaluations.
• Support inventory management, replenishment, and inventory counts.
• Partner with production, operations, quality, engineering, finance, and Accounts Payable to resolve purchasing and invoice-related issues.
• Provide purchasing and receiving documentation to support invoice processing and three-way matching.
• Identify opportunities to improve purchasing processes, efficiency, and cost management.
• Assist with special projects and other purchasing-related initiatives as needed.

Qualifications
