Job summary

Radiance Technologies in Huntsville, AL seeks a procurement professional to manage the full lifecycle of purchasing for DoD programs. Responsibilities include processing purchase requests, issuing RFQs/ proposals, evaluating quotes, and administering purchase orders in compliance with procurement standards and government regulations.

Candidates should have a DoD purchasing background, be proficient in MS Office, and possess strong written and verbal communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required with 3 years related work experience in DoD purchasing, or 7 years direct DoD purchasing experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Working knowledge of the FAR.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Exceptional organization and ability to manage multiple efforts.

Responsibilities

• Receive purchase requests and issue requests for quotes/proposals.
• Evaluate quotes/offers for best price, delivery, and other criteria.
• Issue, administer and modify purchase orders; perform cost analyses.
• Research available suppliers and set up/maintain documentation to procurement standards and government regulations.

Required Experience:

• Bachelors and 3 years related work experience in DoD purchasing or 7 years of direct DoD purchasing experience
