Quanex is seeking a Butyl Mixing Operator II for the 3rd shift (Sunday-Thursday, 10pm-6am) in Cambridge, Ohio. The role involves weighing raw materials and adding them to the mixer according to the pre-loaded recipe in the system.

Key responsibilities include operating and calibrating equipment, documenting batch records, labeling materials, and ensuring safety with proper PPE. Immediate PTO and comprehensive benefits accompany the position.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift a minimum of 55 lbs repeatedly.
• Comfort with standing, walking, bending, and climbing for long shifts.
• Willingness to work 8-12 hour shifts, including weekends as needed.
• Follow safe work practices and wear required PPE at all times.

Responsibilities

• Measure and weigh raw materials according to the recipe.
• Operate, maintain, and calibrate batching equipment.
• Input/scan materials, label samples, and document batch records.
