Job summary

Select Milk Producers seeks an experienced supervisor to lead the butter department, manage daily production schedules, and uphold quality and safety standards. The role involves coordinating with the Plant Manager on audits, GMP compliance, sanitation, and equipment maintenance, while guiding staff training and overtime management.

You will contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and ensure accurate raw material inventory and reporting to upper management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Dairy or Food Science.
• Experience leading a plant in a dairy/food manufacturing setting.
• Strong leadership and training abilities.
• Proficiency in data handling and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operation and production schedule of the butter department.
• Review out-of-spec products with Plant Manager.
• Conduct butter audits and ensure GMPs.
• Monitor sanitation and CIP records.
• Manage overtime and scheduling; training as needed.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensure raw material inventory accuracy and related coordination.
