Job summary

Continental Dairy Facilities Southwest, LLC is seeking a Butter Department Supervisor to oversee the daily operation and production schedule of the butter department at our Texas plant. You will ensure product quality, GMP compliance, and efficient turnaround.

You will review out-of-spec products with the Plant Manager, run audits, monitor sanitation and maintenance, manage staff, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Dairy or Food Science.
• Four years of plant leadership experience in a dairy or food facility.
• Ability to troubleshoot and problem-solve.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency with data input, reporting, and program tracking.
• Knowledge of GMPs and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operation and production schedule of the butter department.
• Review out-of-spec products with Plant Manager.
• Conduct butter audits and ensure GMP compliance.
• Review losses in Butter room; manage sanitation CIP records.
• Monitor staff, provide training, and manage overtime.
• Ensure equipment maintenance and preventive maintenance.
• Participate in Food Safety and Food Quality Teams.
• Manage raw material inventory and communicate with upper management.
• Support continuous improvement through efficiency initiatives.
• Discharge any other duties as assigned.
