Uncle Gs Management Corp. is seeking a skilled Butcher to join our busy Meat Department in our New York store. You will demonstrate expert meat-cutting abilities and operate industrial equipment while upholding old-school cutting techniques.

Responsibilities include creating displays, weighing and labeling meat, and preparing specialty items with precision. Strong English communication and safety standards are essential.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of professional butchering experience, including bandsaw use, in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong knowledge of traditional cutting methods and best practices.
• Ability to work safely, efficiently, and with excellent attention to detail.
• Comfortable communicating in English (speaking, reading, and writing).

Are you a master of the cut? Our full service gourmet Marketplace is seeking a skilled Butcher to join our busy Meat Department! This individual will have expert meat-cutting abilities, confidence with industrial butchering equipment, and a commitment to keeping tradition alive with our “old school” cutting techniques. A cut test will be scheduled for qualified candidates — so bring your skills!

What You’ll Do

Customer-Facing Duties:

1. Create eye-catching displays of fresh cuts to tempt customers
