Job summary

Edgewood Tahoe Resort in Stateline, NV is seeking a Busser/Food Runner to support servers and maintain a clean dining area. You will deliver food from the kitchen, assist with table readiness, and help ensure guests have an excellent dining experience.

Ideal candidates have experience in fast-paced restaurants, strong communication, and the ability to multitask under pressure. This position requires flexible scheduling, including nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• Ability to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Prior experience as a busser, food runner, or in a similar fast-paced restaurant role.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills required to interact with both guests and team members.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to multi-task effectively.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Clear and reset tables quickly and efficiently, ensuring the dining area is clean and organized at all times.
• Monitor dining area for each table’s progress and assist with preparing tables for reservations.
• Assist in ensuring all menus, glasses, utensils, and napkins are clean and properly stocked.
• Deliver food and beverages to tables promptly and accurately, ensuring the correct items are brought to the right guests.
• Communicate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders.
• Maintain knowledge of menu items, including ingredients and preparation methods, to answer basic guest inquiries.
• Work with the kitchen staff to ensure food is properly plated and ready for delivery.
• Anticipate guests' needs and proactively assist wherever possible.
• Perform other related duties as assigned to support the overall success of the team and business.
