Job summary

Rancho Santa Fe Association's newly renovated restaurant is seeking a Dining Room Support role to help maintain clean, properly set tables and a smooth flow of service for Members’ elevated dining experiences.

You will clear and reset tables, set table settings to club standards, refill water, assist servers, and keep dining areas clean. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and flexible evenings/weekends required.

Qualifications

• Prior bussing, food running, or dining room experience preferred but not required
• Food Handler certification, or ability to obtain
• Ability to work efficiently and calmly under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Fully flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Frequent or occasional need to perform the following physical activities: grasping, finger dexterity, bending, twisting. Lift/carry/push/pull up to 50 pounds.
• Standing and walking on various surfaces for an extended period of time.

Responsibilities

• Clears and resets tables promptly and discreetly between courses and after guests depart.
• Sets tables to Club standard, including linens, flatware, glassware, and china, prior to and during service.
• Refills water and bread service, and assists servers with delivering non-alcoholic items as directed.
• Maintains cleanliness of the dining room, patio, and service stations throughout each shift.
• Transports dishware safely to the dish pit and assists with proper sorting and organization.
• Restocks service stations with linens, silverware, glassware, and condiments.
• Because of the fluctuating demands of the Club's operation, it may be necessary that each employee perform a multitude of different duties; therefore, as an essential part of this position is to help others when the occasion arises.
• Assists with room turns and setup for private events and Member functions.
• Communicates promptly with servers and management regarding table status and readiness.
• Follows all Club sanitation and safety procedures.

Tuesday, September 29 from 9:00am -12:00pm and 4:00pm - 7:00pm

POSITION SUMMARY:
