Job summary

Graziano's Group is seeking a friendly Bussers to support our dining room team. You will wipe tables, reset settings, replenish linens and silverware, and help servers by delivering water, bread, and condiments.

Fluency in English and Spanish is a plus, and prior bussing experience is preferred. You must be able to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 pounds as part of daily duties in a fast-paced restaurant environment.

Qualifications

• Experience as a busser preferred.
• Must successfully complete restaurant training course.
• Prolonged standing and walking required.

Responsibilities

• Wipe tables or seats with dampened cloths or replace dirty tablecloths.
• Set tables with clean linens, condiments, or other supplies.
• Scrape and stack dirty dishes and carry dishes and other tableware to kitchens for cleaning.
• Clean up spilled food or drink or broken dishes and remove empty bottles and trash.
• Perform serving, cleaning, or stocking duties to facilitate customer service.
• Maintain adequate supplies of items such as clean linens, silverware, glassware, dishes, or trays.
• Serve ice water, bread, or butter/condiments to patrons.
• Fill beverage or ice dispensers.
• Stock cabinets or serving areas with condiments and refill condiment containers.
• Locate items requested by customers.
• Carry trays from food counters to tables for patrons.
• Carry food, dishes, trays, or silverware from kitchens to serving counters.
• Serve food to customers when waiters need assistance.
• Clean and polish counters, shelves, walls, furniture, or equipment and mop floors.
• Wash glasses or other serving equipment at bars.
• Stock refrigerating units with wines or bottled beer.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities

Education And Experience

• Previous experience as a busser preferred.
• Must successfully complete restaurants training course.

Physical Requirements

• Prolonged periods of standing and walking.
• Must be able to lift, balance, and carry trays of food weighing up to 25 pounds.
