Cala Scottsdale is hiring bussers to support a fast-paced dining team in Scottsdale, AZ. You will help maintain a clean, welcoming restaurant environment by clearing tables, resetting stations, and assisting servers.

This role emphasizes teamwork, reliability, and the ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays while upholding sanitation standards and a positive guest experience.

Formación

• Previous restaurant experience is preferred, but not required.
• Energetic and team-oriented with a strong work ethic.
• Ability to move quickly and stay organized under pressure.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods.
• Arizona Food Handler’s Card required or obtainable.

Responsabilidades

• Clear and reset tables quickly to support service.
• Maintain dining room cleanliness in all areas.
• Refill water, bread service, and guest needs as directed.
• Set up tables and sections at the start of each shift.
• Restock server stations with glassware, silverware, napkins.
• Assist with carrying food and communicating guest needs.
• Follow sanitation and safety procedures.
• Perform opening/closing side work and cleaning tasks.
• Communicate with team to ensure smooth service flow.
• Move with urgency and attention to detail during busy times.

Job Summary

Bussers play a vital role in maintaining the flow and cleanliness of the restaurant. They support the service team by clearing tables, resetting stations, and ensuring that guests experience a clean, comfortable, and well-prepared dining environment at all times.

Key Responsibilities

• Support servers and hosts by clearing and resetting tables quickly and efficiently.
• Maintain cleanliness in the dining room, patio, lounge, and service stations.
• Refill water glasses, bread service, and other guest needs as directed by servers.
• Ensure proper setup of tables and sections at the beginning of each shift.
• Help restock server stations with glassware, silverware, napkins, and other supplies.
• Assist with carrying food, clearing plates, and communicating guest needs to the team.
• Follow all sanitation and safety procedures for dishware and dining room upkeep.
• Perform opening and closing side work and cleaning duties.
• Communicate effectively with team members to maintain a smooth flow of service.
• Move with urgency, awareness, and attention to detail during busy shifts.

Skills & Qualifications

• Previous restaurant experience is preferred, but not required.
• Energetic and team-oriented with a strong work ethic.
• Ability to move quickly and stay organized under pressure.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and work on your feet for extended periods.
• Must have (or obtain) a current Arizona Food Handler’s Card.
