Job summary

Jimmy's Famous American Tavern is seeking a Busser to support waitstaff by ensuring tables are set and reset, glassware is full, and service runs smoothly in a fast-paced dining room.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, along with the ability to obtain a valid food handler’s card. Restaurant experience is preferred, with a strong emphasis on teamwork and a positive attitude.

Qualifications

• Valid food handler’s card, or the ability to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Remove dirty plates and or utensils and replenish as needed.
• Clean and reset tables after guests leave.
• Maintain health and safety regulations at all kitchen and dining areas.
• Supports waitstaff by setting up and replenishing condiment stands and busser stations.
• Closes dining facility by cleaning chairs and tables, sweeping and vacuuming floors, and removing trash from the facility.
• May need to help with stocking and replenishing bar, including putting away beverage orders.

Job Summary:

A Busser is a restaurant professional who is responsible for making sure that tables are set, silverware is placed correctly, and glasses stay full. They support the waiter staff to ensure all tables are set and cleared in a timely manner.
