Job summary

Downtown Blues in Rehoboth Beach, DE is seeking a friendly Busser to help provide a clean, pleasant dining experience. You will prepare dining areas, clear and reset tables, and ensure a well-stocked, sanitary dining room for guests throughout shifts.

You will collaborate with servers, hosts, bussers and kitchen staff to maintain high standards, perform required pre/post shift side work, and uphold health and safety regulations in all dining areas.

Qualifications

• Maintain health and safety regulations at all dining areas.
• Prepare dining areas before guests are seated.
• Clear and reset tables between guests.
• Collaborate with managers, servers, hosts, bussers, bartenders and kitchen staff.
• Attend to side work as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Supports Downtown Blues’ mission, vision and values
• Prepare dining areas before guest are seated
• Remove dirty utensils and replenish, as needed – Pre-bus and after service
• Clean and reset tables after guests leave
• Maintain Health and safety regulations at all kitchen and dining areas
• Take out trash and Linens
• Sweep and Mop as needed
• Check bathrooms hourly to make sure they are stocked and clean
• Perform all pre and post shift side work required
• Collaborate and communicate with managers, servers, hosts, bussers, bartenders, runners and kitchen staff
• Preparedness for shift (timely arrival, required uniform, etc.)
• Assist in other jobs throughout the restaurant
• Complete pre, during and post shift side work

Job description

Bussers are responsible for providing a clean and pleasant dining experience by clearing, sanitizing or resetting tables. They ensure that the restaurant is well stocked with necessary items such as silverware, plates, napkins, and cups of water glasses.
