Job summary

Rich’s, also known as Rich Products Corporation, is a family-owned food company delivering cakes, icings, pizza, and toppings to homes, restaurants, and bakeries worldwide. This role focuses on providing excellent guest service in a restaurant setting and requires knowledge of the menu and wine, with attentive table setup and timely table turnover.

As a server, you will work across shifts, including nights and weekends, maintaining safety and quality while lifting trays and supporting the bar

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience serving prepared food to customers.
• Able to work various shifts including nights/weekends.
• Bartending experience is preferred.
• Stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent service to all restaurant guests.
• Knowledge of the menu and wine list.
• Set up tables, chairs, linens, china, silverware and glassware; polish where needed.
• Clear and clean all tables and work areas according to procedures.
• Carry heavy trays from kitchen to dining area.
• Perform side work at start and end of shift.
• Assist bartender when needed.
• Maintain food handling and safety standards.

Purpose Statement

Server will provide excellent customer service to all guests of the restaurant, Atrium& off-site premisesin a timely manner and with a positive attitude.

Key Accountabilities and Outcomes

• Provide excellent service to all restaurant guests
• Knowledge of the menu and the structure of the plate; knowledge of wines and the restaurant wine list
• Setup of tables, chairs, linen, china, silverware and glassware; clean and polish silverware / glassware
• Clear and clean all tables, work areas, dining room or other areas utilized according to proper procedures; return all equipment to proper location
• Carry heavy trays of food from the kitchen to the dining area
• Perform all necessary side work as directed at the beginning and end of shift
• Assist bartender when need arises
• Maintain exemplary food handling and safety and operation practices

Knowledge, Skills, and Experience

• High School Diploma or GED
• Experience with serving prepared food to customers
• Ability to work various shifts including nights/weekends
• Bartending experience preferred
• Able to stand for extended periods of time and lift up to 50 lbs.
