Las Vegas, Nevada — MGM Resorts International seeks a Busperson for Room Service at Aria to maintain our high-volume in-room dining operation, ensuring cleanliness, stock, and efficient flow in a luxury, 24/7 environment. You will work with dispatchers and servers to keep the service areas organized and stocked.

The starting rate is $15.0169 per hour plus tips. Candidates should be 21+, available weekends/holidays, and have 1+ years in a similar fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• 1+ years of prior relevant experience as a Busperson or Food Runner in a high-volume environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist servers to ensure proper guest service.
• Polish flatware and set up tables with silverware, glassware, linen, condiments, and accessories.
• Fold napkins and ensure ashtrays are clean and available on tables in designated smoking areas.
• Clean and reset tables with linens, ashtrays, glassware, and tabletop items.
• Dispose of trash in designated receptacles and maintain clean dining areas.
• Coordinate table availability with Server, Hostess, and Management to turn tables efficiently.
• Serve water, coffee, and soft drinks and refill as needed.
• Keep dining room floors clean and debris-free.

THE JOB:

As a Busperson for Room Service at Aria, you will maintain our high-volume in-room dining operation, including our food pick-up areas, service corridors, storerooms, and beverage stations, in flawless alignment with our strict cleanliness and stock standards. Working hand-in-hand with our dispatchers and servers, you will ensure our behind-the-scenes areas are organized and stocked, owning the essential details that keep our luxury, 24/7 guest-room delivery flowing efficiently to meet Aria's premier service standards.

THE STARTING RATE:

$15.0169 Hourly + Tips

THE DAY-TO-DAY:

• Work with servers to ensure proper guest service
• Polish flatware, set up tables with appropriate silverware, glassware, linen, condiments, and accessories,
• fold napkins properly and ensure ashtrays are clean and available on tables in designated smoking areas
• Clear, clean, and sanitize booth/chair cushions and tables completely, and reset with clean linens,
• ashtrays, votive candles, glassware, and any additional tabletop items needed
• Remove dirty dishes, debris, and linens from table and bring to the kitchen for proper washing and
• disposing of trash in designated receptacles
• Coordinate table availability and constantly communicates with Server, Hostess, and Management to
• ensure tables are turned efficiently
• Serve water, coffee, and soft drinks, refilling when needed
• Ensure that dining room floors are clean and free of debris

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

• Must be 21 years of age or older
• Work varied shifts, to include weekends and holidays required
• 1+ years of prior relevant experience as a Busperson or Food Runner in a high-volume restaurant or similar fast-paced environment preferred
