Job summary

MGM Resorts International in Las Vegas is seeking a dedicated Busperson for Carbone at Aria to help create a high-end dining experience. You will support the service team with table maintenance, beverage service, and timely resets to uphold premier standards.

The role requires working varied shifts including weekends/holidays, and 18+ years old with 1+ year(s) of fine dining or upscale restaurant experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced service environment.
• Strong teamwork and communication with servers and managers.

Responsibilities

• Assist servers by maintaining table settings, replenishing water and beverages.
• Polish flatware and set tables with silverware, glassware, linens, and condiments.
• Clear and reset tables, tidy cushions and surfaces, and ensure clean dining areas.
• Coordinate seating and table turnover with the team to maintain flow.

THE JOB:

As a Busperson for Carbone at Aria , you will support our legendary service team in maintaining the clean, vibrant, and theatrical dining environment of our world-class Italian-American restaurant. Working hand-in-hand with our captains and servers, you will elevate the guest experience through meticulous table maintenance, prompt water, bread, and beverage service, and pristine table resets, ensuring our high-turnover parlor flows flawlessly while maintaining the premier fine dining standards of our celebrated culinary destination.

THE STARTING RATE: $15.0169 USD Hourly + Tips

THE DAY-TO-DAY:

• Work with servers to ensure proper guest service
• Polish flatware, set up tables with appropriate silverware, glassware, linen, condiments, and accessories, fold napkins properly and ensure ashtrays are clean and available on tables in designated smoking areas
• Clear, clean, and sanitize booth/chair cushions and tables completely, and reset with clean linens, ashtrays, votive candles, glassware, and any additional tabletop items needed
• Remove dirty dishes, debris, and linens from table and bring to the kitchen for proper washing and disposing of trash in designated receptacles
• Coordinate table availability and constantly communicates with Server, Hostess, and Management to ensure tables are turned efficiently
• Serve water, coffee, and soft drinks, refilling when needed
• Ensure that dining room floors are clean and free of debris

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

• Work varied shifts, to include weekends and holidays required
• Must be 18 years of age or older
• 1+ Years of Prior relevant experience as a Busperson in a Fine Dining or similar Upscale restaurant environment preferred
