Job summary

Kalahari Resorts & Conventions in Spotsylvania County, VA is seeking a Busser to provide friendly, efficient service and maintain a clean dining area. You will assist with clearing tables, refilling drinks, and supporting the host and server teams to deliver an exceptional guest experience.

The role offers hourly pay of $7–$8 plus tips, on-site work, and the opportunity to be part of a leading hospitality group that emphasizes teamwork and guest satisfaction.

Responsibilities

Kalahari Resorts & Conventions is seeking aBusser.In this role, you will be responsible for providing friendly, responsive service to create a beyond expectation dining experience for all guests. You will greet/serve guests if applicable, provide drink refills as needed, and clear and reset tables after guests leave.

As part of our leadership team,you’llembody our Promise toLead with Love—guiding, supporting, and inspiring associates while delivering extraordinary guest experiences.You’ll keep tables clean and dining areas tidy, ensuring a comfortable and welcoming environment for our guests.

Pay Rate - $7 - $8/Hr. + Tips

Key Responsibilities

• Take dirty tableware to dish room and place silverware, dishes, glassware, etc. in the appropriate areas for washing.
• Between seating, promptly clean tabletops, chairs and booths. Check floors and clean them as required. Reset and arrange tabletop.
• Inspect assigned restroom every 30 minutes and clean and replenish supplies as needed and/or alert the common area cleaners of problem areas.
• Communicate with server and hostess/host to assure efficient seating, table utilization and customer service.
• Be available to fill in as needed to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the restaurant as directed by the restaurant manager or immediate supervisor.

What We’re Looking For

• Good verbal communication and interpersonal skills are a must with the ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other associates of the Resort.
• Must be able to read and comprehend simple instructions.
• Must be self-directed to work on your own during busy times.
• Restaurant, hotel, resort, or customer service experience helpful.
