Jabil is seeking a Business Unit Manager in the United States to lead strategic direction for a customer account and drive profitability across a single site. You will own the P&L, manage RFPs, price production and project work, and partner with the workcell to optimize operations and financial performance.

You’ll collaborate with senior leaders to shape strategy, drive organic growth, and ensure quality and GMP compliance across processes.

Qualifications

  • Masters degree desirable.
  • Degree in Engineering, Finance/Accounting, or Business Management essential.
  • Three to five years work-related experience required, preferably in Financial or Manufacturing Operations fields.
  • Or a combination of education, experience and/or training.

Responsibilities

  • The Business Unit Manager collaborates with the Senior Leadership Team on the strategic direction of the site.
  • Establishes and manages current customer relationships, striving to capitalize on organic revenue growth opportunities.
  • Demonstrates an entrepreneurial spirit and drive.
  • Full responsibility for a customer/site Profit & Loss (P&L) statement (generally in a single site).
  • Responsible for the Request for Proposal (RFP) process for assigned customer accounts. May support RFP processes for other accounts.
  • Pricing of Production and Project based activity (i.e. materials and value-add).
  • The Business Unit Manager works in an integrated manner with the workcell and is accountable for the operational and financial performance of that workcell.
  • Indirectly manages work of others through Jabil’s Workcell business model.
  • Full responsibility for continuous improvement of customer relationship performance metrics and customer satisfaction.
  • Responsible for tactical execution of established contract terms.
  • Manages and drives the Quarterly Business Review (QBR) process with assigned customer account.
  • Support all company safety and quality programs and initiatives.
  • Ensure ongoing compliance with GMP in all practices, recording of events and processes.
  • Ensure compliance with all learnings from all GMP training events.
  • Other responsibilities may be assigned from time to time as needed, based on the evolution of the company and the requirements of the department/position

Job Qualifications


  • Masters degree desirable
