Job summary

Northern Trust Corp. in California seeks an entry-level Administrative Support role to assist the business unit with operational, data and project tasks. You will prepare reports, maintain manuals, and support planning and communications for the team.

The ideal candidate will have strong communication and analytical skills, basic IT literacy (Microsoft Office, PeopleSoft), and the ability to work both independently and in a team. US work authorization is required.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Familiarity with PeopleSoft and Microsoft Office is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provides administrative, routine operational, logistical and project support to the business unit on an ongoing basis.
  • Participates in the planning and administration of the business unit.
  • Collects, compiles, and analyzes data and information for reports and presentations for the department.
  • Runs and creates formal reports for the business unit; updates manuals and procedures as needed.
