Job summary

Northern Trust seeks an Associate Relationship Manager to support senior team members in servicing institutional clients within Asset Management. You will coordinate resources, handle client inquiries, and track deliverables across onboarding, mandate changes, restructures, and account requests.

You'll develop knowledge of investment solutions and markets, prepare materials for meetings, and document client activity to support relationships and business opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
• 1–2 years of experience in financial services or investment management.
• Foundational knowledge of financial markets, investment products and portfolio management.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM platforms.

Responsibilities

• Support Relationship Managers in servicing institutional client relationships.
• Assist with day-to-day client inquiries, requests, and follow-up activities.
• Coordinate internal resources to resolve routine servicing and issues.
• Track action items and ensure timely completion of deliverables.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and CRM platforms.Series 7 and 63 licenses required and must be obtained within the first 90 days of employment.Salary Range:$74,200 - 126,200 USDSalary range is a good faith estimate of base pay.
