Job summary

JPMorgan Chase in New York seeks an EF&S Transformation Associate to support strategic projects, analysis, and presentations across the EF&S business in Payments.

You will model financial scenarios, develop insights, and coordinate across senior leaders while managing multiple projects. Strong problem-solving, Excel/PowerPoint proficiency, and prior consulting or payments experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience from a premier management consulting firm, a payments firm (e.g., in strategy, product management, sales), or an investment banking division (e.g., M&A, Coverage, Capital Markets, Equity Research)
• Strong interest in payments required
• Ability to work and think independently, strong initiative, and team attitude
• Diverse problem-solving experience across financial services sectors
• Outstanding ability to analyze problems, apply quantitative approaches, communicate effectively and confidently (oral and written)
• Openness to an environment of active developmental feedback from peers
• Excellent and efficient skills using MS Excel and PowerPoint tools

• Gather, synthesize, analyze and present project data and findings

• Execute creative analyses and provide insight to identify issues and arrive at recommendations
• Develop strategic presentations for both internal and external audiences
• Monitor industry trends and share insightful reports and analyses with broader team and with senior executives
• Create and/or contribute to an environment of collaboration and mutual responsibility
• Simultaneously work on multiple projects across EF&S

Job description

The EF&S Transformation team supports senior management in the Embedded Finance & Solutions (EF&S) business within JPMorganChase Payments in developing and executing its global transformation agenda. The team defines the business strategy, including growth priorities and corporate development initiatives. It drives high-priority transformation efforts such as expansion into new markets and optimization of operating models. In close partnership with senior executives, the team helps articulate EF&S strategy both internally and externally. As a lean, high-impact group, the team works directly with business leaders on top priorities while collaborating across the broader payments organization.

As an EF&S Business Transformation Associate, you will support strategic projects, analyze data, conduct financial modeling, develop presentations, execute strategies,and foster collaboration while managing multiple projects within the EF&S business at J.P. Morgan Payments.
