Job summary

Extra Mile E-Commerce invites recent graduates to join the Extra Mile Business Training Program in Elkhorn, NE. Trainees will gain hands-on exposure across ecommerce, marketing, operations, product and finance, with the goal of preparing participants to lead a business unit within two to three years.

You will receive mentorship from the CEO and leadership team, real responsibility early on, and participate in structured book studies and online courses.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business or related field required.
• 3.6 GPA or higher noted as a plus.
• Comfortable with technology and quick to learn new tools.
• Hardworking, coachable and positive mindset.
• Willing to put in 50+ hour weeks while you learn.

About Extra Mile

Extra Mile E-Commerce is a family of 50+ specialty sports, games and play brands based in Elkhorn, Nebraska. Our flagship is Omaha Sports & Games, which sells online and in our store. We have made the Inc. 5000 list four times.

We are now designing and manufacturing our own products and selling them nationwide. HyperJam premium basketball hoops are the first of 5 products launching in 2026, and 20 more are coming in 2027.

Our goal is $100 million in sales by 2030. Getting there takes more leaders, and we would rather grow them ourselves.

About the program

The Extra Mile Business Training Program is for recent college grads who want to learn how a business really runs. You will work across every part of the company. Our goal is to have you ready to lead a business unit or a key area (like sales, operations or product) within two to three years.

You will get real responsibility early. You will also get a lot of support along the way.

What we are building

• A path to $100 million. New products, new brands and new channels, all built by a team that grows with the company.
• Our own products, sold nationwide. HyperJam is just the start. Each new product needs people who can launch it, sell it and support it.
• A creator and affiliate program. Athletes, coaches and creators who promote our brands, starting with HyperJam and our NIL partnerships with college athletes.
• A team that runs on systems. We use EOS (the Entrepreneurial Operating System) to set clear goals, track the numbers that matter and solve problems as a team.
• Leaders from within. Many of the people running our business today started in entry level roles. This program is how we keep doing that.

• Former college athletes and sports fans are a big plus
