Job summary

Dallas College seeks faculty instructors to teach in the Business Technology area across multiple Dallas-area campuses. Courses will include dual credit at partner high schools, with on-site daytime classes between 8 AM and 4 PM, and occasional Saturday sessions.

Instructors will use the college LMS and Microsoft 365 for materials, grades, and communication. Selected candidates may be asked to deliver a 10–15 minute teaching demonstration and must be proficient with Microsoft 365 apps.

Qualifications

• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Experience working with diverse populations.
• Ability to provide quality customer service.
• MOS/CCS certifications preferred or required.
• Transcript requirement noted at interview.

Responsibilities

• Provide students with a written course syllabus.
• Evaluate instructional process and implement improvement strategies.
• Develop and support curriculum; revise textbooks and teaching assignments.
• Maintain accurate and complete course records.
• Use technology to access data, generate reports, and communicate with students.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Business Technology, Business/Computer Education, or Computer related field

Associate's degree or higher with MOS and/or CCS and three years of non-teaching experience

Transcripts required at interview

Bilingual or multilingual preferred
