Job summary

Dallas College seeks an online-instruction Faculty member to teach courses through the Dallas College learning management system. Courses may be asynchronous or synchronous and instructors must attend live sessions and respond to student questions promptly.

Proficiency with Microsoft 365 and reliable internet access are required. MOS certification is preferred for candidates with a bachelor’s degree, and on-campus presence is maintained for Academic positions.

Qualifications

• Excellent oral and written communication with students.
• Demonstrated ability to work with diverse populations and deliver quality customer service.
• MOS certification preferred for candidates with a bachelor’s degree.

Responsibilities

• Provide students with a written course syllabus.
• Evaluate instructional process and use strategies to improve learning.
• Maintain course records and submit reports as required.
• Deliver course content via the Dallas College LMS and respond to student inquiries promptly.
• Attend scheduled live sessions and support online instruction as needed.
